  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  5. Add Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the chocolate chips, reserving a few for topping.
  6. Pour and Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle the reserved chocolate chips on top, and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  7. Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
